Prism Appoints New UK Operations Manager


Colchester, 3rd September 2007: Prism Group Holdings Limited, a leading provider of management information systems and productivity tools to the printing and graphic arts industries has appointed Adrian Manning as UK Operations Manager.

This is a new role created to help consolidate Prism’s unrivalled customer support success, with Adrian heading up Consultancy and Helpdesk for Prism and QTMS in the UK.

Prism CEO Filip Buyse sees this appointment as an important part of a new growth phase, which will include significant expansion of its US and European based businesses, and consolidation of it’s dominant market position in Australasia. “Prism is well established as a market leading MIS and Shop Floor data capture software provider in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. Over the last 10 years we have created a strong foothold in the EMEA market with a prestigious customer base, which includes the Adare Group, Bezier, CTP (SA), Linneyprint, Paarl (SA), Paragon, Polestar, Pindar, Rotosmeets Group, St Ives. Adrian has an excellent pedigree in consulting and managing IT projects in the UK print industry to continue to service these ongoing requirements.”

Prior to this new appointment, Adrian was self-employed as a MIS and Management Consultant, with spells at Butler and Tanner, Stralfors and Pims Enterprises. His 30 years experience working within the print industry began as machine minder, then Commercial Director with The Coleridge Press. He has also held MIS Consultant positions with Optichrome Computer Systems.

As a result of the restructuring David Dunbavand, previously General Manager, will be leaving the organisation at the end of September. “David has done an excellent job rebuilding our company and brand in this market, as well as supporting the International organisation, during his 6 years in this role and we wish him every success with his future career developments!” says Buyse.
